GBU1010 10A 1000V

Model: GBU1010 10A 1000V
GBU1010 10A 1000V

Applications

# Application Scope of GBU‑package Bridge Rectifiers

The GBU package is a single‑in‑line flat bridge (DIP‑4). It features current ratings from 4A to 20A and voltage ratings from 50V to 1000V, adopting glass passivation (GPP) chips. It is widely used for full‑wave rectification at the front‑end of 220 V AC mains input. With slim profile for through‑hole PCB mounting, it allows heatsink mounting. It meets UL94‑V0 flame retardant standard and RoHS compliance, and is a mainstream bridge rectifier for consumer and industrial medium‑low‑power power supplies.

## 1. Switching Power Supplies & Adapters (Primary Application)

‑ Various SMPS (Switch‑Mode Power Supplies), high‑power adapters, desktop power supplies and fast‑charging power supply primary‑side rectification
‑ LED driver power supplies, street‑lamp power supplies and high‑power lighting ballast power input rectification
‑ Power‑board rectification for printers, monitors, televisions, game consoles and desktop computers

>
> Selection Tip: 4‑8A models are commonly used for 150‑400W power supplies; 10‑15A models for 400‑800W high‑power power supplies.

## 2. Home Appliances

‑ Power‑board rectification for control boards of inverter air‑conditioners, refrigerators, washing machines and dishwashers
‑ Power‑input rectification for induction cookers, microwave ovens, water heaters and audio amplifiers
‑ Main power supplies for small household appliances and kitchen appliances

## 3. Industrial Equipment

‑ Auxiliary power supplies for PLCs, industrial controls and instruments, servo drives
‑ UPS uninterruptible power supplies, small‑size chargers and battery charger primary‑side rectification
‑ Small welding‑machine power supplies, power boards for power tools and motor‑drive board rectifier circuits

## 4. Other Applications

‑ AC‑input rectification for energy‑storage modules and small inverters
‑ High‑power power supplies for security equipment and access‑control systems
